WCG announces two leadership appointments

WCG made not one, but two executive announcements May 31. The Princeton-based clinical research solutions company appointed Robert VanHees as chief financial and administrative officer and Paul Mancinelli as chief technology officer.

Both take over from retiring employees.

VanHees, who will lead ‘s global financial and administrative operations, joined the firm May 31 from education technology company ProQuest, where he served as president and chief financial officer. He has also served as managing director/operating partner at JLL Partners and held executive leadership positions at Learning Care Group and Corporate Express North America and Europe, according to the hiring announcement. He succeeds Laurie Jackson upon her retirement.

Mancinelli will lead the company’s technology, including infrastructure, software engineering and application development of its technology and solutions platform. He will join WCG on June 6 from Evernorth, a subsidiary of Cigna, where he serves as chief data and analytics engineering officer. He brings more than 25 years of experience in both financial services and the health care industry with extensive experience designing large-scale software systems, building enterprise-scale data and analytics products and services, and leading global technology organizations, including CoreOne Technologies and Bloomberg. He will succeed Ian Neilson upon his retirement.
