Eighty-five restaurants in New Jersey are among the best in the world when it comes to wine offerings, according to Wine Spectator magazine.

In its 2025 Restaurant Awards, the self-described “world’s leading authority on wine” recognized 3,811 dining destinations from all 50 states in the U.S., as well as more than 80 countries internationally.

Launched in 1981, the Restaurant Awards Program is designed to elevate wine selection and service around the world as well as encourage strong programs that complement a variety of cuisines, settings and prices.

Commenting on this year’s honorees, Wine Spectator Editor and Publisher Marvin Shanken said, “A wine list is a restaurant’s identity in print, and this year’s Wine Spectator Restaurant Award winners reflect both deep knowledge and a passion for discovery.”
