Albatross to open luxury bowling, mini golf venue in Edison (photos)

A massive center featuring luxury bowling, mini golf and nightlife is coming to Edison.

Scheduled to open June 21 at 991 Route 9, Albatross bills itself as a world-class destination for “social entertainment, play and leisure.”

According to parent company New Jersey, the 50,000-square-foot venue will offer casual and competitive play on the “world’s largest indoor-themed mini putting course” and 32 lanes of “high-end luxury .”

will also have a full-service restaurant with tapas-style food options and innovative cocktails, as well as live music and entertainment. Additionally, there will be space for private events, such as celebrations and corporate outings.

In , Albatross takes space at a complex housing Supercharged Entertainment’s giant, indoor multilevel go karting track that opened in 2022.

The property also features TopGolf and iFly Indoor Sky Diving.

Supercharged Entertainment President Stephen Sangermano said, “We’re thrilled to celebrate the upcoming grand opening of Albatross – a one-of-a-kind destination that we believe is not only the best in New Jersey but among the most spectacular in the country and the world.”

He went on to say, “Albatross redefines the meaning of play and leisure. It’s truly a sight to behold – you must see it to believe it.”

Sangermano’s children, Alexis and Tysson, who are co-owners of the business, developed much of the concept, according to a press release. Collectively, the family hopes to create a “luxury, upscale venue” that provides a “social experience for all age groups” and provides that are complementary to Supercharged.
