Atlantic Health System and CentraState Healthcare System opened doors at the new Atlantic Health System Manalapan Pavilion. Situated within Manalapan Commons shopping center, the outpost provides primary and multispecialty care in one location.
AHS and CentraState announced the debut of the new facility May 5. The 18,000-square-foot pavilion is just a few miles from CentraState, connecting the Pavilion to the nationally recognized medical center.
Urban Edge Properties announced a lease for the outpatient site last summer. At the time, Vice President of Leasing Justin Lustig noted the location offers “significant opportunities to help … meet existing and new patients.” The property also underscores the importance of diversifying retail lineups with essential services, Lustig noted.
“The Manalapan Pavilion underscores Atlantic Health System and CentraState’s shared mission to provide greater access to high-quality primary and specialty care in the communities we are dedicated to serving,” commented Dr. Steven Sheris, executive vice president, chief physician executive, Atlantic Health System; president, Atlantic Medical Group.
The Monmouth County site marks the newest addition to AHS and CentraState’s growing network of health pavilions. The Central Jersey locations aim to bring premier ambulatory care and health care services to neighborhoods. Other regional sites include Marlboro, East Windsor, Jackson and Monroe.
“This new facility is the latest example of how CentraState, as part of Atlantic Health System, is strengthening our integrated clinical services and physician network and bringing much-needed services under one roof out in the community,” commented Thomas Scott, president and CEO of CentraState. “We’re proud to help enhance the health and well-being of residents in Monmouth County and beyond.”
