Avison Young arranges 27,000-square-foot lease for Restaurant Technologies

Restaurant Technologies is setting up a regional depot in Kearny to serve the North Jersey and New York-metro areas.

On Jan. 27, Avison Young’s New Jersey office announced it arranged a 27,381-square-foot lease for the provider of cooking oil management and back-of-house cleaning solutions at 590 Belleville Turnpike in the Ridge Crossing Industrial Park.

Senior Vice Presidents Timothy Cadigan and Matthew Turse, and Associate Grant Otto of Avison Young-New Jersey worked with a team of Minneapolis-based colleagues, Principal Mark Evenson and Vice President Chas Simcox, representing Restaurant Technologies in the negotiations.

The landlord, Ride Crossing 6-2 Urban Renewal LLC, was represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s Steve Elman.

“Restaurant Technologies’ new lease underscores the current flight to quality trend in the market, with the company relocating from a class C to class A property,” Cadigan said in a statement.

Restaurant Technologies is headquartered in Mendota Heights, Minn. According to Avison Young, it services more than 27,000 national quick and full-service restaurant chains, independent restaurants, grocery delis, hotels, casinos, convenience stores, universities and hospitals from more than 40 nationwide depots.
