As NAIOP, The Commercial Real Estate Development Association – New Jersey Chapter’s Annual Commercial Real Estate gala approaches, the organization has revealed its 2026 Deal of the Year winners and finalists.

The NAIOP NJ affair returns to The Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset May 14. This year’s celebration will recognize six individuals, along with Deal of the Year winners.

Following the announcement of this year’s individual honorees, NAIOP NJ released the winners of the Industrial, Mixed Use, Emerging Markets deals of the year. The organization will reveal the Office Deal of the Year winner at the gala.

“The 2026 Deal of the Year recipients and finalists are representative of the strength of our industry, and their accomplishments over the past year deserve to be celebrated,” said NAIOP NJ Chief Executive Officer Dan Kennedy, NAIOP NJ Chapter. “We are excited to honor them at the Gala, which will be New Jersey’s premier commercial real estate networking event, and dealmakers won’t want to miss it.”

Office Deal of the Year finalists:

Industrial Deal of the Year – Millstone 8 Logistics Park, Millstone

Mixed Use Deal of the Year – , Tinton Falls

Inspired by Somerset Development acquired the Commvault headquarters to transform it into the third Bell Works location under founder and CEO Ralph Zucker’s Metroburb model. Also involved: H.I.G. Realty Partners, NAI James E. Hanson, JLL Capital Markets, EquityMultiple, Antenna Group

Emerging Markets Deal of the Year – Bayonne

A 58-acre film studio campus located on a 74-acre vacant brownfield site, 1888 Studios will establish the largest film studio in the Northeast. Also involved: Togus Urban Renewal LLC, Sills Cummis & Gross PC, Gensler/Turner Construction, Pizzutillo Public Affairs LLC, U.S. Title Solutions, Bayonne City Municipality, New Jersey Economic Development Authority , Biggins Lacy Shapiro & Co. LLC, Benecke Economics, Langan, PS&S/SESI Consulting Engineers, Elysian Consulting Group LLC

The planned 1888 Studios in Bayonne, a 1.5 million-square-foot facility, was designed by leading architecture firm Gensler to evoke the imagery of Golden Age Hollywood and is being developed by Togus Urban Renewal.
