NAIOP, The Commercial Real Estate Development Association – New Jersey Chapter will hold its 39th Annual Commercial Real Estate Awards Gala May 14.

The NAIOP NJ affair will return to The Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset in 2026. This year’s affair will recognize six individuals, along with Deal of the Year winners.

Meet this year’s honorees:

Charles Klatskin Lifetime Achievement Award – Edwin Cohen, principal, Prism Capital Partners LLC

Pays tribute to an individual who has had a distinguished record of service to the industry and the community

Caren S. Franzini Public Partner Award – Mayor of East Brunswick Brad Cohen, Mayor of Bedminster Township Lawrence Jacobs

Honoring two champions of economic development who have inspired and transformed their communities

Impact Award – Clark Machemer, senior managing director, Crow Holdings Development; Robert Kossar, vice chairman, JLL Northeast Industrial

Presented to two respected industry leaders who have had a significant impact on New Jersey’s commercial and industrial real estate development

Industry Service Award – Dana Nalbantian, principal, Gensler

In recognition of her considerable contributions in support of the industry’s goals

“The 2026 Commercial Real Estate Awards honorees represent the standard and strength of New Jersey’s CRE community, and we are very excited to celebrate them,” said Dan Kennedy, NAIOP, The Commercial Real Estate Development Association – New Jersey Chapter CEO. “With new leadership in Trenton, this year’s Gala serves as an important moment for the industry to come together to reflect on what we’ve accomplished and prepare for what’s ahead.”
