A new luxury rental building in Jersey City provides an alternative to the large-scale projects cropping up in the city. Le Léo launched leasing this week for its 99 units, located in the resurgent Journal Square area.
The six-story building developed by Park Stone Management and Fields Grade is located at 244 St. Paul’s Ave., a short walk to the Journal Square PATH Station.
“Journal Square’s return as the center of Jersey City is on full display throughout the neighborhood which is teeming with dining, shops, entertainment and culture, all centered around a transit-rich infrastructure,” said Jonathan Feifer, founder and owner of Park Stone Management. “The area has also emerged as a residential destination, drawing residents from New York City, Downtown Jersey City, the state’s suburban communities and beyond. We’re excited to add Le Léo to the mix and introduce a contemporary, boutique offering to the neighborhood.”
On the street level of the building, residents have easy access to local favorite Choc-O-Pain French Bakery + Café, which is also integrated into the building’s lobby lounge.

Located off John F. Kennedy Boulevard, the property is a less than 10-minute walk to Journal Square’s transportation hub, with PATH service to Manhattan, Hoboken and Newark. NJ Transit and private bus options also serve the neighborhood daily. The neighborhood also boasts the Mana Contemporary arts center, in addition to the anticipated Centre De Pompidou and the city’s historic Loew’s Theatre, which just took a step closer to its resurrection, winning $42.27 million in tax credits for rehabilitation efforts under a new state program.
In addition to a slew of amenities (which you can read more about in the accompanying slideshow), Le Léo’s conveniences include an outdoor dog run, storage for bikes and other items, and enclosed garage parking.
The Marketing Directors serves as exclusive marketing and leasing agent for the property.
“Le Léo’s stylish living spaces, curated amenities and convenient location should resonate with residents looking for a brand-new residential option in this dynamic neighborhood,” said The Marketing Directors President Jacqueline Urgo. “We also expect it to appeal to those who prefer a more boutique setting over the much larger high-rises that dot the area.”
Prices at Le Léo start in the $2,500s; grand opening incentives include one month free and residences are available for immediate occupancy.
