Campbell Soup Co. named Carrie Anderson as its chief financial officer and executive vice president, effective Feb. 6, according to the Camden-based soup and snack giant.
As part of her new role, Anderson will lead the company’s finance function, including controllership, corporate financial planning and analysis, corporate strategy and development, tax, treasury, internal audit, investor relations, transactional services and financial systems, Campbell said in a Jan. 25 announcement.
Anderson will report to Campbell Chief Executive Officer and President Mark Clouse and also become a member of the operating committee as well as a corporate officer.
She succeeds Mick Beekhuizen, who was appointed president of Campbell’s Meals & Beverages division in November 2022.
In a statement, Clouse said, “I am delighted to welcome Carrie to our leadership team. She brings a wide range of diverse, strategic experience and financial discipline, and her expertise in capital management and deployment will help us continue to drive our growth plans and enhance our performance.
“Her collaborative approach combined with a track record of driving transformation, delivering results and developing strong finance teams will be invaluable as we continue to build momentum in the business,” Clouse added.
Anderson joins Campbell from Princeton-based Integra LifeSciences, a leading global medical technology company, where she served as chief financial officer and executive vice president since 2019.
Her background also includes positions at Dover Corp., Delphi Product & Service Solutions and General Motors Co.
Anderson’s appointment comes as Campbell embarks upon a plan to invest $50 million to upgrade and expand its Camden headquarters amid a consolidation of its snack businesses from Connecticut and North Carolina.
The changes, which are expected to occur over the next three years, will add about 330 positions to Campbell’s Camden offices, bringing the total local workforce to about 1,600.
