Chuck E. Cheese is teaming up with New Jersey’s very own Cake Boss, Buddy Valastro, to offer decadent cake by the slice.

In an Aug. 14 press release, the Texas-based family entertainment center chain announced the launch of Buddy V’s signature cake slices at participating locations, with three flavor options: confetti, rainbow and chocolate fudge, which can be purchased individually or as an add-on to any birthday party package.

During a kick-off event at Chuck E. Cheese in Union, Valastro said he is excited to join forces with the popular venue and be able to bring his “all-time favorite cake flavors straight to families all over the country.”

Valastro, the owner of Carlo’s Bakery and star of TLC reality series “Cake Boss,” added, “With our proprietary baking and shipping process, we can send our cakes to Chuck E. Cheese Fun Centers, fresh and delicious! This collaboration presents a perfect marriage of my passion for creating delicious desserts and the commitment by Chuck E. Cheese to providing fun, unique experiences.”

As a “premier destination for birthday parties and celebrations,” David McKillips, chief executive officer of Chuck E. Cheese parent company CEC Entertainment, said, “We are very excited to partner with Buddy V’s Cake Slice, bringing Buddy’s incredible cake craftsmanship to our guests.”

He added, “We believe this collaboration is a perfect match, as we hope to provide moments that spark joy and unforgettable memories, and we look forward to celebrating every occasion with cake!”

CEC Entertainment operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations across 47 states and 19 countries.

A partnership between Virtual Dining Concepts (VDC) and Valastro, Buddy V’s Cake Slice is a delivery-only brand founded in 2021.

In addition to being served at Chuck E. Cheese, the fun center serves as a nationwide market partner for VDC, an Orlando, Fla.-headquartered venture that supports virtual restaurant brands. Its portfolio includes MrBeast Burger, Pardon My Cheesesteak and LankyBox Kitchen.

Through VDC, cake slices are distributed to restaurants across the U.S. and available online at buddyvscakeslice.com or via third-party delivery services including Doordash, Grubhub and UberEats.
