In her new role, Watson will be responsible for branch policy and procedures, as well as maintaining compliance throughout the bank’s branch network.

Watson joined Columbia Bank in 2002 as a branch manager in the bank’s West Milford office. Most recently she served as branch operations specialist.

“Since joining the bank, Margot has had many notable accomplishments,” said Thomas Kemly, president and chief executive officer. “Her extensive experience in branch operations will greatly help us achieve our goal of becoming New Jersey’s preeminent bank.”

According to the Fair Lawn-based institution, Columbia Bank has 49 full-service offices and an asset base upwards of $6.6 billion.
