Aghassi has been with the Fair Lawn-based financial institution since 1996 serving for years as a commercial loan officer. He was promoted to a member of the North Jersey Commercial and Industrial Lending team in 2003.
In the vice president role, Aghassi will continue to manage the North Jersey Commercial and Industrial Lending team.
He is a past director and president of the Greater Paramus Chamber of Commerce and serves as treasurer of the Fritz Behnke Museum in Paramus.
Columbia Bank has 49 full-service offices in New Jersey.
