The Shops at Riverside is ringing in the new year with several new tenants.
In a Jan. 3 announcement, the Simon Property Group-owned mall in Hackensack said it expects to soon welcome Anthropologie and Free People.
Located on Level 1 near Sweetgreen, Anthropologie bills itself as a “destination for women who want a curated mix of clothing, accessories, gifts and home décor.”
Popular lifestyle brand Free People is launching a shop on Level 1, by Coach. The retailer specializes in “bohemian fashion and one-of-a-kind clothing, accessories, shoes and beauty products.”
The same parent company owns both Anthropologie and Free People, Philadelphia-based URBN. The two brands already have several shops across New Jersey, in locations such as Paramus, Princeton, Woodcliff Lake, Shrewsbury and Short Hills.
Aesura, a medspa founded by two board certified physicians, recently opened on Level 2, near AMC Theatres. Services include neurotoxin treatments, dermal fillers, cosmetic dermatology and skin care.

The Shops at Riverside also expects to grow its dining lineup with the addition of Jinya Ramen Bar.
A California-born contemporary dining concept, Jinya is known for specialty ramen made in long-simmered broths, Japanese-inspired tacos, rice bowls, curry and other small plate items.
Since its 2010 founding, Jinya has grown to more than 60 restaurants in North America. It has East Coast locations in Maryland, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Washington, D.C.
Within New Jersey, Jinya made its debut last fall in Totowa through a partnership with Allendale-headquartered restaurant group Doherty Enterprises Inc. The upcoming outpost at the Shops at Riverside marks the second developed by Doherty, a spokesperson told NJBIZ.
Other eateries at the mall include The Cheesecake Factory, Houston’s, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Morton’s Steakhouse, Rosa Mexicano, P.F. Chang’s, Sweetgreen and True Food Kitchen.
Luxury jewelry brand David Yurman also recently opened at The Shops at Riverside. See the new store here >>
