Bergen Town Center in Paramus is adding some sweet spots to its mix of retail, service and dining concepts.

The Urban Edge Properties-owned mall recently announced several new leases, including agreements with popular cookie and premium ice cream brand Haagen Daz.

Known for its rotating menu of dessert-inspired specialty flavors, Crumbl has become the fastest-growing cookie company in the nation since its launch six years ago. The location would be the chain’s first in Bergen County, joining other Crumbl stores in Brick, Manalapan, Cherry Hill, Clark, Holmdel, Morris Plains, North Brunswick, Ocean, Princeton and Union.

For Haagen Daz – which serves a variety of ice cream bars, sorbet, frozen yogurt and gelato, the 953-square-foot space at the Bergen Town Center will be the chain’s second spot in Paramus. It also has a location at Westfield Garden State Plaza.

According to Urban Edge Properties, the other tenants set to join Bergen Town Center are:

  • Journeys: A teen specialty retailer with an emphasis on trendy and affordable branded footwear, apparel and accessories.
  • Bond Vet: A full-service veterinary clinic, offering urgent care, routine care, surgeries, dental cleanings and international health certificates.
  • Perfumania: A retailer specializing in the sale of genuine designer fragrances and related gifts and accessories for men, women and children.

Additionally, J.Crew plans to combine its men’s and adult stores into one flagship 6,247-square-foot space across from the Nike Factory Store.

In a statement, Jeff Mooallem, chief operating officer and executive vice president for Urban Edge Properties, said, “These new additions validate our belief that BTC [Bergen Town Center] is the best-in-class retail destination in northern New Jersey.”

“Positioned in between two of the busiest Whole Foods and Target stores in the state, our new retailers will provide fresh concepts and in-demand products for our loyal customers and for new visitors,” he said.

The new tenants join a retail lineup that includes Banana Republic, Nordstrom Rack, Adidas Outlet Store, Burlington, Saks Off 5th, Gap Factory, Bloomingdales Outlet Store, Guess Factory, H&M, HomeGoods, Kay Jewelers Outlet, Kohl’s, Lowe’s, Marshalls, The Children’s Place, Target, REI, Whole Foods Market and Ulta Beauty.

Bergen Town Center’s dining scene includes Bahama Breeze, Chopt Creative Salad Company, Olive Garden, Qdoba Mexican Grill, Sticky’s The Finger Joint, Sarku Japan, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Dunkin’.
