Food Network-featured gourmet cupcake shop debuts at American Dream

Butter Lane, a popular New York City gourmet cupcake bakery, has made its New Jersey debut at American Dream.

Located in Court G, Level 1, the certified-kosher bakery officially opened Aug. 2, offering its handmade cupcakes that are baked and frosted daily. The shop is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Founded in 2008, Butter Lane is known for its signature and seasonal cupcakes, cookies and cakes, as well as baking classes and catering. A foodie favorite, Butter Lane has been featured on the Food Network and the Martha Stewart Show in addition to earning a devoted YouTube following.

Last month, Butter Lane announced the closure of its flagship location in the East Village and said it will “be back to New York City soon.” Until then, the bakery encouraged customers to check out its new space at American Dream.

In a statement, Lisa Liu, Butter Lane’s owner, said, “We’re so excited about our new location at American Dream and being a part of their amazing food offerings and experiences. Finally, we’re able to offer our delicious, gourmet cupcakes to customers outside of the city, marking a major milestone for us!”

Bryan Gaus, senior vice president and general manager of American Dream, welcomed Butter Lane, saying, “This adds to our incredible, unique line up of high-quality, delicious baked goods. Now our guests can enjoy a sweet treat, pick up the perfect cupcakes for parties, and even take a variety of classes.”
