Haagen Dazs celebrating newest location with free cups, cones

Haagen Dazs Shops is celebrating the grand opening of its newest spot in New Jersey with free frozen mini treats for the first 500 customers.
Located at the Bergen Town Center in Paramus, the premium ice cream brand is set to mark the occasion with a special event from noon to 5 p.m. on Aug. 5.
As part of the festivities, Haagen Dazs will also hand out scratch-off cards for a chance to win a year’s worth of free ice cream.
For Haagen Dazs – which serves a variety of ice cream bars, sorbet, frozen yogurt and gelato – the 953-square-foot space at the Urban Edge Properties-owned mall is the chain’s second spot in Paramus. It’s also the second shop for owners Brian Ko and Christine Kim, who opened their first Haagen-Dazs at Brandon Town Center Mall in Brandon, Fla.
