Inserra Supermarkets Inc. recently unveiled its newest ShopRite in North Jersey.

Located 22-00 Maple Ave. in Fair Lawn, the state-of-the-art, 72,000-square-foot supermarket began welcoming shoppers June 16 after a grand opening celebration with local community leaders, ShopRite associates and members of the Inserra family.

Along with a wide selection of groceries, fresh produce, locally sourced goods and specialty items, ShopRite of Maple & Hemlock has new services, such as a wellness department staffed with a registered dietitian.

Other highlights include signature Inserra departments: a from-scratch fresh bakery, café, butcher, meat and full-service gourmet kitchen with a variety of fresh prepared and to-go food options. It also provides traditional and self-checkout lanes, in addition to online ordering with store pickup.

The supermarket has LED lighting, updated store signage and eco-friendly, energy-efficient refrigerated cases. It replaces the previous ShopRite at 17-17 River Road in Fair Lawn, which permanently closed June 15.
