Jersey Mike’s Subs raised a record-breaking amount for charity in March as part of its 14th annual “Month of Giving” campaign. This year, the Manasquan-based fast casual sandwich chain’s U.S. locations collected over $25 million on behalf of more than 200 nonprofit entities, including food banks and hospitals.

Along with accepting donations throughout the month, Jersey Mike’s’ 2,700 participating restaurants nationwide gave 100% of sales and profits from its March 27 “Day of Giving” initiative to the partnering charities.

Following this year’s campaign, the Month of Giving effort has raised more than $113 million since its 2011 launch. In 2023, the national fundraising total was $21 million.

In a statement, Caroline Jones – senior vice president of Jersey Mike’s and daughter of founder and Chief Executive Officer Peter Cancro – said, “It’s incredibly heart-warming to see our customers rally to support their local charities by showing up to buy subs. Day of Giving is our busiest day, and we look forward to it all year. Thank you to our customers, franchise owners, team members and charity partners for making a difference!”
