KPOT expands NJ all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ, hot pot locations

A New Jersey-born all-you-can-eat and Asian concept is firing up more restaurants in its home state.

After opening its 10th location last week in Deptford, expects to add spots in:

  • Lodi 2-4 Memorial Drive
  • Secaucus 700 Plaza Drive
  • Neptune 2200 Route 66

A media representative for KPOT did not immediately respond to a request for more information on grand opening timelines. The company’s website lists each site as “coming soon.”

Founded seven years ago in East Brunswick, KPOT combines an all-you-can-eat model with interactive dining. At restaurants, diners can choose and cook their own proteins, vegetables and broths using tabletop grills and tableside hot pot cookers.

Now owned by , the fast-growing has over 120 locations and counting open across the U.S.

Locally, it can be found in Englewood, Kearny, Jersey City, Union, Woodbridge, Hazlet, East Brunswick, Princeton and Toms River.

Victor Chow, vice president of Vertex Hospitality, recently told FSR Magazine that he believes there’s a big market for “ at a great price, a great bar, and a great environment.”

“America and Americans are open to something that’s a little bit more interesting than a decent burger or a sandwich place,” he said. “KPOT is a pretty daring idea.”
