A member of the Raritan community since 1971, Labcorp began work on the Somerset County expansion in 2017.

“As a major employer in the state, Lapcorp has a vested interest in enhancing health care in communities across New Jersey,” Haas told NJBIZ.

“Labcorp’s expansion is a huge win for our local business community,” said Chris Edwards, president of the Somerset County Business Partnership. “Not only does Labcorp employ over 1,000 people, but those people support all of our small businesses through their daily presence in Raritan.”

“Labcorp is a model for how a major corporation can expand its footprint all over the United States but continue to be a steward of the local economy,” Edwards added.

And in Raritan, the move sets up Labcorp for future growth.
