Morris County getting 2nd cannabis dispensary (updated)

A new recreational-use cannabis dispensary will open its doors this week in . 

Located at 321 Mount Hope Ave. in the Rockaway Townsquare Mall, will begin welcoming customers during a grand-opening event beginning at 10 a.m. March 15. 

A certified Minority and Women Business Enterprise (), Holistic Re-Leaf is Morris County’s second dispensary, according to the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission. Kind Kush is also in Rockaway. 

Denville native Sherry Hundal opened Holistic Re-Leaf with the goal of combining conventional wellness with innovative cannabis solutions, according to a March 13 grand opening announcement. 

Hundal’s background includes a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and a post baccalaureate certificate in Ayurvedic wellness from the University of Maryland. 

“As we open the doors to Holistic Re-Leaf, we’re not just launching a dispensary; we’re cultivating a community centered around healing and holistic well-being,” Hundal said in a statement. “Our goal is to enlighten and educate our customers, offering them a diverse range of premium cannabis products tailored to fit their unique lifestyles and needs.” 

According to its website, Holistic Re-Leaf’s “mission is to demystify cannabis, dispel myths, and foster a culture of informed decision-making” through educational initiatives.
