MPX-NJ is celebrating the launch of its third dispensary in South Jersey.

Located at 581 Berlin-Cross Keys Road in Gloucester Township, the storefront carries cannabis for both medical patients and adults over the age of 21.

A grand opening event is scheduled for Sept. 30, 2 to 6 p.m., and will feature live music, entertainment, food, swag and special deals. RSVPs are requested.

The festivities come a few days after MPX-NJ – which is owned by New York-based multistate operator iAnthus Capital Holdings Inc. – began medical sales at its Pennsauken dispensary on Central Highway.

Earlier this year, MPX-NJ launched recreational sales at its Atlantic City medical dispensary, becoming the first business in the resort town to offer adult-use cannabis.

In a statement, Richard Proud, CEO of iAnthus, said MPX-NJ is thrilled to open its newest outposts and “excited to be at the forefront” of New Jersey’s “rapidly evolving” cannabis landscape.

With three dispensaries in New Jersey – the maximum allowed under state law – Proud said the company is continuing its “commitment to bringing high quality products and exceptional patient-focused experiences” to the Garden State.

Last week, employees at MPX-NJ’s Gloucester Township store joined the growing number of cannabis workers statewide who have opted to unionize, according to the Union Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 360.
