The retail lineup at Newark Liberty International Airport’s newly renovated Terminal A continues to grow.

WH Smith North America, a leading global travel retailer, recently launched a range of new post-security concepts for travelers and employees at the busy airport, including:

  • Four newsstands (Vue New Jersey, New Jersey Monthly, Telegraph 1st Edition and WH Smith + Wellness)
  • A joint Hugo Boss, Tumi, Hershel Supply Co., tentree specialty-retail location, featuring high-fashion, eco-friendly and sustainable apparel, accessories and luggage
  • Shore Points Market, which features goods supplied by Corrado’s Market, a popular family-owned and -operated grocery chain in North Jersey
  • InMotion, a retail location for lifestyle products and electronics, including headphones, mobile power sources, Bluetooth speakers and other travel accessories

In a statement, WH Smith North America CEO Toby Keir said, “The renovation of Terminal A was a veritable success, and we are proud to have contributed to this project with seven unique concepts, all capturing the local color of New Jersey.”

“With many additional concepts in development, we are excited to continue our partnership with the amazing team at Newark Liberty International Airport,” said Keir, who said more openings are expected this summer.

The new terminal, which was unveiled in January after its $2.7 billion overhaul, consists of 33 gates that will be serviced by American Airlines, Air Canada, Delta, JetBlue and United Airlines, and can accommodate more than 13 million people each year.

The 1 million-square-foot space also offers state-of-the-art passenger amenities, digital technology, artwork from nearly 30 local artists, and dining and retail options provided by 60 regional, national and global brands.

It was recently recognized as one of the world’s best new terminals, based on traveler feedback regarding factors such as check-in, shopping, security, comfort and ambiance.
