NJ Chamber elects 6 new board members

NJ Chamber elects 6 new board members

The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce announced the election of six new members to its board of directors.

The group provides guidance to Chamber staff on policy issues that impact New Jersey’s short- and long-term economic growth – with a special emphasis on issues pertaining to:

  • Economic Development & Taxation
  • Education and Workforce Development
  • Environment and Energy
  • Government Reform
  • Health Care
  • Transportation

 

Elected Dec. 12, the new members represent a range of different industries and regions across the Garden State:

  • Andrew Agger, senior vice president and middle market banking executive, Fulton Bank
  • Richard Butkus Jr., president and managing partner, Control Point Associates Inc.
  • Chuck Cerniglia, executive director, United Healthcare of New Jersey
  • Terrill Jordan, president and CEO, Regional Cancer Care Associates
  • Karen Patruno Sheehy, senior vice president and chief compliance officer, Intra-Cellular Therapies
  • Michael Sommer, chief development officer, Kushner

 

The Chamber says these accomplished leaders will contribute to its mission of fostering a dynamic and thriving business environment here in the state.

“There are many opportunities and challenges facing New Jersey – and these individuals will provide counsel and expertise as we work together to ensure the state reaches its full economic potential,” said Tom Bracken, president and CEO of the .

Bracken noted that that these individuals join a board with “an already impressive group of New Jersey business leaders.”
