Bakery café chain Paris Baguette recently launched its newest location in New Jersey.

Located at 200 Market St. in Montvale, the fast casual eatery is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and offers delivery as well as catering, according to the company.

Founded nearly four decades ago in South Korea, Paris Baguette is known for its French-style sandwiches, fresh baked bread, pastries, desserts and coffee. The concept has since expanded to nearly 4,000 units worldwide, including 120 restaurants in the U.S.

Within New Jersey, Paris Baguette’s other locations include Red Bank, Fort Lee, Hackensack, Livingston, Northvale, Edison, Palisades Park, Bound Brook, Montgomery and Ridgefield, as well as future spots planned for Paramus, West New York and Cherry Hill, according the company’s website.

Paris Baguette, which has its U.S. headquarters in Moonachie, is currently in the middle of a nationwide expansion, targeting several new markets: Washington, California, Arizona, Colorado, Minnesota, Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

It will also continue development in New Jersey and New York.

After seeing significant growth last year, with more than two dozen locations added across the U.S., the chain plans to launch at least 64 new stores and sign 160 agreements over the next 12 months. By 2030, Paris Baguette aims to have 1,000 units nationally.

Paris Baguette was recently named No. 118 on Entrepreneur Magazine’s top 500 fastest-growing franchises. It was also ranked as the top franchise in the baked goods/bakery café category.

In a statement, Mark Mele, the brand’s chief development officer, said, “We are thrilled to announce our new opening within New Jersey. There’s a tremendous amount of opportunity in the bakery café space. No one else is doing what we are on the same scale and that’s attracting a lot of attention.”

“It’s a really exciting time for us as we continue seeing growth through franchise expansion and year-over-year revenue numbers,” he said.
