When visitors return to the Wild Safari at Six Flags Great Adventure this season, they’ll be in for a spotty situation.
After being born at the Jackson-based theme park, giraffe calf Coral will join the herd in time for Wild Safari’s March 29 opening day.
Coral was born Dec. 15, 2024, to resident Wild Safari giraffes Conan and Mariah, the park said. Though Coral faced some challenges, such as difficulty standing, Wild Safari said she overcame them with the support of the team at the park.
She arrived about two months after a male calf. Pringles – who has the same father as Coral – is also doing well and has already taken his place in the herd, a Wild Safari spokesperson said.
