Six Flags Entertainment Corp. is giving season passholders a major perk to mark the one-year anniversary of its $8 billion merger with Cedar Fair.
From July 29 through Sept. 1, guests who purchase or renew a season pass at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson will automatically score free access to the theme park giant’s 41 other properties in North America for the remainder of 2025 and all of 2026, according to a July 24 press release.
Six Flags Chief Commercial Officer Christian Dieckmann commented, “This massive benefit is one that only Six Flags Entertainment can provide with more than 40 amusement, water and animal parks spanning three countries. A 2026 Six Flags season pass is your international passport to fun with dynamic family entertainment, refreshing thrills and the world’s most exhilarating roller coasters.”
To take advantage of the limited-time deal, customers need to purchase either a Gold or Prestige pass to gain access to 288 rollercoasters, 282 family rides, 970 water slides and 234 pools at parks. Six Flags has locations across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Guests can also enjoy more than 913 signature events, like Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park. Additionally, the offer includes one bring-a-friend ticket for Gold Pass purchases and two bring-a-friend tickets for Prestige Pass purchases.
Besides Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey, the company’s lineup of parks includes several others within driving distance, like Six Flags New England, Kings Dominion and Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom.
Previously, Six Flags’ season passes only granted unlimited access to a single home park and required customers to purchase the “All Park Passport” as an add-on if they wanted to visit other parks. According to Six Flags’ website, the add-on costs about $65 for the 2025 season.
Six Flags has not yet announced how much 2026 season passes will cost, but the company did say it will offer the “lowest pricing of the year.”
Currently, a 2025 Gold Pass for access to Six Flags’ three properties in New Jersey (Great Adventure theme park, Wild Safari animal park and Hurricane Harbor water park) are $99 or $6.99 per month after an initial $20 payment and includes a 10% discount on food and merchandise, as well as free parking. The 2025 Prestige Pass costs $195 or $12.99 a month after $20 down. Passholders receive preferred parking and 15% off food and merchandise in the parks.
The offer comes as Six Flags prepares to close less profitable parks in Maryland and California. Company executives said the decision was made in an effort to focus capital on stronger performing parks and streamline operations following last year’s merger.
