RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group recently relocated several practices into a redesigned medical suite at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway. 

Now located on the second floor of the hospital at 865 Stone St. are: 

• Cardiology care: Including advanced diagnostic testing, cardiac rehabilitation and emergency angioplasty

• Surgical and specialty care: Surgery for a range of conditions, including bariatric procedures
  For appointments: 732-499-6400
  
• Pulmonary care: Including diagnosis and treatment of lung conditions, with on-site testing, pulmonary rehab and management of acute and chronic respiratory illness
  For appointments: 732-499-6380
  
• Coming soon: primary care services 

“Our goal is to ensure that health care is never more than a few miles away for our patients,” Michael Prilutsky, president and CEO of RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group, said in the May 1 announcement. 

Prilutsky added that the centralized location for these services creates “a seamless transition between acute and ambulatory care.”

The updated offerings follow a new leader for the Rahway facility. Dr. Kenneth Janowski recently took on the role as chief medical officer at the hospital.
