Somerset-headquartered SHI International announced Oct. 1 it completed the acquisition of Locuz Enterprise Solutions, an Indian cybersecurity and digital transformation services company.
As NJBIZ reported, the buyer announced the deal in May.
SHI, one of the world’s leading technology solutions providers, says the acquisition will accelerate and enhance its services and solutions capabilities in key growth areas, such as cloud, cybersecurity, networking, data center and managed IT operations. It will also add scale for its global customers, according to the company.

In a press release, SHI International President and CEO Thai Lee said the organization is excited to officially welcome Locuz’s 800-plus, talented team members.
“The addition of Locuz will be pivotal in our mission to deliver comprehensive IT solutions and services that address the complex needs of our multinational customers,” said Lee.
According to SHI Chief Financial Officer James Prior, the integration of Locuz staff and systems is well underway.
“And I am confident that it will be a seamless transition thanks to the meticulous planning and attention to detail from our teams,” said Prior. “We are ready to extend our services today to our customers in India and those looking for offshore or hybrid support models.”
SHI said the completion of the acquisition marks a significant advancement of its strategic journey to help customers around solve what’s next in AI, cybersecurity, data center and modern workplace solutions.
