Visit Atlantic City announced a leadership transition Sept. 27. President and CEO Larry Sieg is retiring after years of service to the organization, which aims to create economic development for AC.

The organization lauded Sieg for his visionary leadership and overseeing key initiatives and developments, such as:

  • Promoting conventions, meetings and tourism;
  • Rebranding the organization;
  • Integrating leisure marketing the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA);
  • Contributing to increased visitor numbers; and more.

Earlier this year, NJBIZ spoke to Sieg as Visit prepped for its busy 2024 summer season.

“I am incredibly proud of the work we’ve accomplished during my time here at ,” said Sieg. “The team’s resilience and dedication have been instrumental in helping us meet the challenges of a rapidly changing tourism landscape.

A new chapter

Musich

Sieg will depart the organization at the end of this year. Current Vice President of Sales at Visit Atlantic City Gary Musich will succeed him. Musich has more than 25 years of experience in sales and hospitality, as well as driving business growth and fostering key relationships across the tourism sector.

The organization says his promotion reflects its commitment to continuity and building on the strong foundation Sieg established.

It also marks a new chapter in Visit Atlantic City’s history. The organization will focus on innovation, strategic partnerships and continuing to attract major events to the city.

“I’m confident that Gary is the right person to take the reins and lead this organization to even greater heights,” said Sieg.

“I am honored to step into this role and continue the great work that Larry has set in motion,” said Musich. “Atlantic City has endless potential, and I look forward to working with our partners to promote this incredible destination to visitors from across the globe. We will remain focused on expanding our reach, innovating our offerings, and ensuring that Atlantic City continues to thrive as a top-tier destination.”
