Farm-fresh grocery chain Stew Leonard’s is gearing up to debut a food and wine festival at its two stores in New Jersey.
Scheduled for Oct. 12 in Paramus (700 Paramus Park) and Oct. 19 in Clifton (467 Allwood Road), the events will feature samples of Stew Leonard’s most-loved dishes as well as best-selling wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks. Both events will run from 1-4 p.m.
As part of the festivals, attendees will receive a “passport” to use as they eat and drink their way around. Participants will receive a stamp at each tasting station.
Customers who hit all nine stops will also be invited for an extra perk. After turning in their passports at customer service, guests can receive a commemorative Stew Leonard’s Food & Wine Festival pin.

The event is complimentary and there’s no need to register in advance, according to Stew Leonard’s.
Founded in 1969 by Stew Leonard Sr. as a single store in Norwalk, the company is now a $600 million business with over 2,500 workers. The family-run grocer made its New Jersey debut five years ago at Paramus Park and opened its second in-state store earlier this year in Clifton.
Known for its animatronic characters and selection of dairy, meats, seafood, produce, bakery items, cheese and prepared foods, the New York Times nicknamed the banner “the Disneyland of Dairy Stores.”
