“Each has been proactive in their support for employers and employees, particularly in a time when there is no blueprint for action,” President and CEO Tom Bracken said of the organization's Legislative and Business Awards honorees, who were recognized at Bell Works in Holmdel on Oct. 20.

The organization has urged businesses in the state to push workers to get the vaccine and its move comes the same day the Food and Drug Administration issued a full approval of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, now known as Comirnaty, for individuals age 16 and older.

Three entrepreneurs will have the chance to pitch their ideas to a team of investors during Pitch Stop, a July 13 event hosted by the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce.

"There is no doubt business people want to bring human interaction back to the workplace, so you can say that Gov. Murphy's lifting of restrictions has come at the right time,” said Tom Bracken, the organization's president and chief executive officer.

Tom Bracken was one of nine executives named to the group, which is tasked with enhancing lobbying and coalition work, recommending programming, and strengthening outreach to the business and chamber communities that cover more than 3 million enterprises nationwide.
