Hartz Mountain Industries' The Reserve at Estuary completes live-work-play transformation

Hartz Mountain Industries’ vision and work at Lincoln Harbor in Weehawken has hit a nexus. The latest rental building to debut sits on the 60-acre community’s last remaining waterfront development site.
Leasing launched at luxury offering The Reserve at Estuary April 1, according to the family-owned and operated real estate company. Located at 1525 Harbor Blvd., the property features 218 residences. The new program closely follows Hartz’s ultra high-end, in-demand addition, Hoboken Point.

Whole Foods Market is steps away, and the building offers direct access to the 18.5-mile Hudson River Waterfront Walkway, running from the George Washington Bridge to Hoboken, Liberty State Park in Jersey City and Bayonne. Beyond the exiting neighborhood amenities and transportation options – in addition to the New York Waterway ferry, the neighborhood is adjacent to the Lincoln Tunnel entrance, as well as a NJ Transit bus stop – Hartz said more is due.
An all-new community-driven retail concept will open at the development early next year, according to the company.
The Reserve at Estuary stands seven stories and spans an entire city block. MHS Architecture provided interior and exterior designs for the project. Hartz Mountain added that the project takes inspiration from the area’s industrial past.
Floorplans range from studios to two-bedroom-plus-den apartments. Each features high ceilings, floor-to ceiling windows and closets enhanced with custom shelving. Select residences will include private outdoor space (balcony, patio or terrace). Each home offers wide-plank flooring, smart technology with keyless entry as well as in-home washers and dryers.
The property features nearly 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenity offerings.
Hartz Mountain Industries’ decades-long redevelopment effort to transform Lincoln Harbor from a business and dining draw to a live-work-play neighborhood concludes with The Reserve at Estuary’s debut.
Greystar professionally manages The Reserve at Estuary. Starting prices range from $3,300 per month for a studio to $4,785 per month for a two-bedroom. The on-site leasing office is now open. Model residences will be revealed this spring while occupancy for the first phase of rental residences is slated for mid-June.
