Many popular chains are offering deals to celebrate the end of tax season.
This year, the April 15 filing deadline for income taxes will bring a range of promotions and freebies on food and beverages. Several brands with a local presence, like Moonachie-headquartered Paris Baguette and Manasquan-based Jersey Mike’s Subs, are among the companies that have revealed Tax Day specials.
Here’s a few places where you can catch a “tax break.”
On April 15, customers can get $10 off any purchase of $40 or more.
Rewards members can score a free combo upgrade (chips and fountain drink) with the purchase of any sub on Tax Day.
The chain is shaving $10 off orders of $50 or more using the promo code WRITEOFF. The online-exclusive deal is available on dickeys.com or the app between April 14–15.

Customers who have the rewards app can earn 250 bonus points for any purchase April 15. The points can be redeemed for future orders via drive-thru, in-store, pickup or delivery.
The chain is offering a $10.99 bundle featuring a regular No. 2 sub, chips and drink.
Customers who say the phrase “tax-free” on any Tuesday in April will have the sales tax on their order covered.
Customers who buy a dozen doughnuts at regular price can pick up a second original glazed dozen for free. The offer applies in-store, drive-thru and orders for pick-up or delivery via the Krispy Kreme app.
Rewards members can earn 50 bonus points with a cake purchase. The franchise will load those points onto accounts on or around May 1.
The bakery café chain is giving a free pastry with any beverage purchase to rewards members.
For Tax Day, customers can get a large three-topping pizza starting at just $10 on their choice of one of three crusts (hand tossed, tavern style or thin & crispy). The offer is good for in-store, online or through the Pizza Hut app.
The fast-casual chain is giving rewards members a chance to cash in on $5 off any full-sized entrée. Guests who visit TaxDayGuacRelief.com by 11:59 p.m. April 15 will receive a $5 off reward to be redeemed April 20.
Through April 28, rewards members can get a free footlong sandwich with the purchase of another footlong. Additionally, 1,040 customers who purchase a sandwich April 15 using the promo code FLBOGO will receive a free footlong coupon deposited into their account as a “refund.”
The fast-food brand is offering a free order of six-piece chicken nuggets with a $5 purchase exclusively in the Wendy’s app.
Between April 13–17, the fast-food chain is granting customers 15% off orders made using the code WC15OFF.
