Raising Cane’s launches ‘haunted’ Halloween VR experience

Popular chicken finger chain Raising Cane’s is celebrating spooky season with a -themed experience.

Between Oct. 15–31, guests can purchase a limited-edition glow-in-the-dark collectible cup that includes a QR code to whisk guests away to a digital activation featuring a haunted version of the restaurant.

Along with playful ghosts and other surprises, Raising Cane’s first-ever VR experience includes a “Capture the Bat” game that allows participants to score treats, like free fries or toast.

According to the brand, the cup retails for $1.39 with the purchase of any combo meal or 32-ounce drink.

The VR experience is also accessible via QR codes on in-restaurant signage or by clicking here.

recently announced the rollout in a press release. The Dallas-based chain noted that Halloween is one of its favorite ways to connect with the community. Besides spooky-themed promotions, Raising Cane’s is also known for hosting costume contests and over-the-top restaurant decorations.

“It’s not just about the holiday itself, but about creating memorable experiences, fostering team spirit and giving back to the communities Cane’s serves,” the company said.

Founded in 1996, Raising Cane’s serves chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw and signature “Cane’s Sauce.” With more than 900 locations nationwide, the Louisiana-based chain is considered one of the fastest-growing restaurant brands in the U.S.

Since opening its first New Jersey location last year in Burlington, Raising Cane’s has added outposts in Washington Township, Marlton, Cherry Hill, Deptford and Glassboro. A brand spokesperson recently confirmed plans to open by this winter in Fairfield and Edison, too.
