Additional details regarding the openings were not immediately available from the media representative. However, Paris Baguette’s website says an outpost at Manalapan Towne Pointe is coming soon. And, tenant indexes confirm the chain is taking space at Freehold Marketplace and Market Place at Neptune.

Founded four decades ago in South Korea, Paris Baguette is known for its freshly prepared pastries, cakes and breads. The concept boasts 4,000-plus locations worldwide. After opening its first U.S. franchise site in 2015, the fast-casual brand now has over 300 sites in North America.

Thanks to strong sales, rapid expansion and continued strategic investments, Paris Baguette executives expect to reach their goal of 1,000 U.S. cafés and 100 Canadian locations by 2030.

Within New Jersey, other recent grand openings include Cherry Hill, Moorestown and Woodbridge.

A long time coming

In Long Branch, the new, 2,984-square-foot boardwalk café is owned and operated by Ameeshi Chovatia-Patel and Devanshu Patel.

According to Paris Baguette, the local couple left their corporate careers to pursue a franchise opportunity “that would allow them to become business owners with the support of an established brand.”

The Patels went on to partner with the chain because the “bakery café model aligned with their goal of creating a place where the community could gather over high-quality food and warm service,” the chain said.
