A brand-new 24-hour McDonald’s is open for business in Bergen County.
Located at 24 W. Oakland Ave. in Oakland, the 3,655-square-foot fast food spot recently began welcoming customers. It offers dine-in, takeout, drive-thru and mobile ordering options.
The new freestanding restaurant was secured through a lease arranged by Paramus-based commercial real estate services brokerage The Goldstein Group. The firm initially announced the deal last fall.
The Goldstein Group President Chuck Lanyard and Vice President Marc Palestina represented McDonald’s. Laurence Leibowitz and David Zolotorofe represented the landlord, Landmark Oakland 24 LLC.
The 1.89-acre site is located at the signalized intersection of West Oakland Avenue and Route 202. It also features direct access to Route 287.
In a statement, Lanyard said he and his team “were pleased to assist McDonald’s in expanding their presence in northern New Jersey.” He went on to describe the site as “a prime location with great highway exposure and access.”
According to Lanyard, the newly built McDonald’s is a corporate-run site.
Other nearby tenants include Walgreens, Shop Rite, Columbia Bank, City MD, Ace Hardware, Chase Bank, 84 Lumber, Staples, Dollar Tree, Atlantic Health, Sherwin Williams, Valley Bank, Verizon, Bubbakoo’s Burritos, Dunkin’, Leslie Pool, Burger King, KFC and Taco Bell.
As the world’s largest fast food chain, McDonald’s serves over 69 million customers daily across more than 40,000 outlets in 100-plus countries.
Within New Jersey, McDonald’s has more than 250 locations.
Though Bergen County is home to 16 McDonald’s eateries, the closest one to Oakland is in Wayne in Passaic County.
