Wells Fargo will welcome a new regional leader next month, the company announced Nov. 8., elevating Adam Kleinman to commercial banking division sales executive for the Metro New Jersey and New York region.

Kleinman, who has been with the financial institution for nine years, takes over the position effective Dec. 5. His responsibilities will include: developing, supporting and leading business development officers, developing strategic sales initiatives, assisting in new client acquisition and deepening existing customer relationships across the market.

The current business development officer will replace Tom DiGiulio in the position, who was tapped by the bank to develop and lead a Sustainable Finance Advisory team.

During his time at Wells Fargo, the bank said that Kleinman has secured multiple new clients across the commercial & industrial (C&I) and investor real estate sectors. He’s also a prior relationship manager at Wells Fargo’s North Jersey office and strategist on its commercial strategies team.

According to Wells Fargo, the move bolsters its presence across New Jersey — and comes amid a period of regional growth for the commercial banking team in the Northeast. The financial institution said it has more than 100 employees across New Jersey, New York City and Long Island serving companies with annual revenues ranging from $10 million to $2 billion.
