Calling all chefs!

As part of a fundraiser in support of the , amateur and professional chefs are in demand to participate in a culinary competition scheduled for Feb. 5 at the Showboat Resort.

To compete in Let’s Get Cookin’ 2025, chefs must prepare samples of appetizers, entrees or desserts for judging on various criteria. In addition to culinary excellence, there will be an award for the best decorated table.

Entrants may register through Jan. 21; however, an ACBGC spokesperson said the nonprofit will continue accepting chefs until Jan. 31 if space is still available.

The evening will also feature gourmet offerings, including a wide array of food tastings and beverage samplings, as well as a chance to participate in a silent auction.

According to organizers, more than 100 amateur and professional chefs will showcase their finest dishes, from savory bites to decadent desserts.

Curated beverage options will include wine, craft beers and specialty cocktails to complement the chefs’ creations and tailored to various palates.

The silent auction will feature a selection of high-quality items and experiences, such as luxury getaways, gourmet dining and exclusive event tickets.
