Bandai Namco opens collectibles shop at American Dream

Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America – the company behind brands like Pac-Man, Dragon Ball and Tamagotchi – launched its first long-term retail store in the Western hemisphere at American Dream.

Located in Court G, Level 1, the shop offers anime toys and collectibles from various Bandai-owned brands, as well as full-size statutes for fun photo opportunities.

Based in Tokyo, Bandai Namco is a Japanese holdings company that specializes in video games, anime, toys, arcades and amusement parks. In addition to pop-up shops in select cities and conventions, the company has been making moves to grow its retail footprint outside of Japan recently.

Within the last year, Bandai Namco has launched four stores in the U.K. and has several more planned in 2024.

Following its May 31 grand opening at American Dream, Bandai Namco is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
