Fans of Bang Cookies came out in full force to meet two of the New Jersey-born dessert brand’s celebrity co-owners: MTV “Jersey Shore” star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino along with social media personality Corey Bonalewicz (also known as Corey B).

The June 29 festivities took place at the chain’s Ocean Township store. As part of the event, Bang Cookies also launched its new lines of ice cream and cold brew coffee.

The hundreds of attendees also received exclusive swag bags and complimentary sweets. The packages included special signature cookie boxes curated by Sorrentino and Bonalewicz with their personal favorites, like white chocolate macadamia nut, salted caramel chocolate chip, cookies & cream, s’mores and triple chocolate.

Founded nine years ago in Jersey City, Bang Cookies is known for its giant, stuffed soft-baked cookies made with all-natural and organic ingredients.

After getting its start at farmers markets, the venture quickly expanded into brick and mortar, as well as e-commerce. The franchise now has outposts in Ocean Township, Jersey City, Edison, Newark and East Rutherford. Outside of New Jersey, Bang Cookies has stores in Brooklyn, N.Y., and King of Prussia, Pa.

In addition to recently welcoming Sorrentino as a new co-owner, Bang Cookies is preparing to unveil stores in Princeton, Oklahoma City and – possibly – Las Vegas.
