Borgata, Big Night to open new Atlantic City venue in 2026

Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa announced Oct. 6 it will transform the former space into a new 18,000-square-foot .

The resort will develop the project in partnership with Big Night, New England’s leading and group. It is set to open in summer 2026.

The announcement follows Borgata’s decision this summer to close Premier Nightclub after nearly a decade in operation. As NJBIZ reported, the venue debuted in 2016 and closed its doors Aug. 31, marking the end of an era for one of ‘s defining destinations.

Borgata executives said the move reflects the resort’s ongoing commitment to “reimagine and elevate” its entertainment offerings. It also comes as part of a broader wave of reinvestment projects. The latest to debut includes the refreshed B Bar as well as a new 25,000-square-foot Asian gaming space.

Now, Borgata says its partnership with will usher in a new phase for the resort’s entertainment lineup.

The reimagined space will feature cutting-edge technology, immersive design, and the flexibility to host concerts, special events and dynamic programming throughout the year.

“Borgata has always been the East Coast’s premier entertainment destination, and partnering with Big Night allows us to bring something bold and new to Atlantic City,” said Niklas Rytterström, president and chief operating officer of Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. “Together, we’re creating a venue that will set a new standard for live experiences and offer guests unforgettable moments worth returning for.”

Big Night, big names

Boston-based Big Night is the group behind acclaimed venues such as Big Night Live, The Grand and Memoire. It’s known for its high-energy productions and eclectic mix of talent spanning genres and generations. Past performers at its venues have included: Erykah Badu; Snoop Dogg; the Pixies; Sabrina Carpenter; Burna Boy; and global EDM stars, such as Steve Aoki, Zedd, Diplo and Shaquille O’Neal (a.k.a. DJ Diesel).

The project marks the latest in a series of major developments at Borgata. NJBIZ profiled the property in August as the resort continues to evolve its offerings and experiences.

Borgata says it will share further details about the venue’s programming, design and amenities in the months ahead.
