Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa announced Friday the upcoming closure of Premier Nightclub.

The venue, which debuted in 2016, will operate until Aug. 31, 2025.

In a press release, Borgata noted that Premier has served as a destination for world-class DJs, unforgettable parties and nightlife experiences. The property says the club helped define the modern Atlantic City entertainment scene.

“We are incredibly grateful to our dedicated team who brought Premier’s energy to life night after night and to our loyal guests who have played a pivotal role in making the venue one of Atlantic City’s most iconic nightlife destinations,” said Borgata President and COO Niklas Rytterstrom.

Borgata says the decision reflects its commitment to continuing to reimagine and elevate its guest experiences. The resort pointed to recent projects, such as the reimagined B Bar as well as a major refresh of the gaming floor, with the new 25,000-square-foot Asian gaming space and more, which NJBIZ reported on.

“As we bid farewell to Premier, we remain committed to evolving the nightlife experience at Borgata and look forward to sharing what’s next for the space in the months to come,” said Rytterstrom.
