Following positive consumer feedback, Comcast Corp. has expanded its Xfinity five-year guarantee pricing to customers nationwide.

Unveiled at the end of June, the new everyday pricing (EDP) structure applies across the U.S. It offers four national internet tiers with unlimited data and the advanced Xfinity WiFi Gateway. The cost includes equipment, cybersecurity protections and Wi-Fi management solutions. Additionally, customers can lock in the package with no contract.

The five-year price guarantee aims to provide greater freedom, flexibility and consistency for customers. The move is part of Philadelphia-based Comcast’s broader efforts to offer simple – and predictable – solutions.

The approach is notable as uncertainty persists more widely, stemming from macroeconomic, political and global issues.

Comcast introduced the program for new customers in April.

“We said we were going to go ‘all-in’ on a new pricing strategy and we are delivering with our 5-year price lock and our new everyday price plans. Now all our Xfinity Internet packages are built on simplicity and transparency – no hidden fees, no confusion – just the best, most reliable and secure WiFi that sets a new standard for the ultimate connected experience,” said Steve Croney, COO, Connectivity & Platforms, Comcast.

For example, an existing customer who was paying $90 per month ($74, plus $15 for equipment) for 400 Mbps, can upgrade to the 1 Gbps plan for $85 per month for five years – gateway included.

Comcast highlighted the speed and reliability of its Wi-Fi. According to the company the network features multi-gig speeds, a low-lag connection, the capacity to connect hundreds of devices and wall-to-wall coverage. An Xfinity Mobile line is also included in the deal for one year.
