A Metuchen-based leader in teledentistry solutions and dental intraoral cameras is partnering with Delta Dental of Washington to provide virtual dental care.
Under the newly announced agreement, Dentistry. One will offer its suite of virtual care services to the benefits provider’s more than 4 million members. The platform is developed by MouthWatch LLC.
The collaboration offers 24/7 access to live video consultations, asynchronous photo reviews and AI-powered technology that helps track oral health. Additionally, patients will be able to connect with expert dentists – including eight located in Washington state – and dental hygienist care advisors who can facilitate in-person care when needed.
Following a virtual care appointment, Dentistry. One will share the member’s oral health report directly with a preferred dentist if they have one. For individuals without a dentist, Dentistry. One can assist with identifying one nearby and scheduling in-person appointments as needed.
MouthWatch introduced Dentistry. One in 2023. The technology seeks to break down barriers that prevent millions of people from accessing the dental care they need. As a virtual-first dental care network, the platform aims to empower patients to take control of their oral and overall health via online consultations and seamless, personalized care coordination.
MouthWatch and Dentistry. One founder and CEO Brant Herman remarked, “Our partnership with Delta Dental of Washington represents the future of oral health care – seamless, accessible, and patient-centered.”

“We’re excited to offer Delta Dental of Washington members an innovative benefit which makes accessing care easier than ever, enhancing member engagement, and keeping members healthy. Dentistry. One is designed to meet the evolving needs and goals of oral health, by delivering a new standard that improves member experience and outcomes while connecting more members to care,” he said.
MouthWatch is already widely known for its intraoral cameras. The platform helps engage patients in treatment planning through high-quality, affordable imaging technology. Meanwhile, the company’s TeleDent software provides practices and organizations with a teledentistry option to engage patients with providers remotely.
Delta Dental of Washington Chief Mission Officer Diane Oakes commented, “This partnership amplifies Delta Dental of Washington’s decades-long commitment to innovation and dental care equity. Partnerships like this move us closer to our goal that everyone can enjoy good oral health with no one left behind – including many rural communities where dental care resources are scarce.”
