Mama’s Creations remains a favorite with QVC shoppers, with the East Rutherford-based company’s Italian sauces and meatballs picking up customer choice awards for a fifth year in a row.
This year, the televised home shopping network’s customers voted the company’s MamaMancini’s brand Italian sauce as the best spice, sauce or condiment; MamaMancini’s plant-based meatballs as the best smart swap; and its meatballs and sauce combo were named No. 1 in the “I Could Eat This Every Day” category.
When QVC announced this year’s winners, spanning 31 product categories during a Sept. 20 broadcast, company co-founder Dan Mancini was on hand to receive the awards.
Mancini commented, “It was an honor to accept the award on-air at QVC, allowing us to show our gratitude to their large base of engaged viewers nationally.”
He went on to say, “Winning yet another QVC Customers Choice Award is truly an emotional moment for me – it’s incredibly fulfilling to see our family recipe so widely recognized and cherished by so many, especially for the newly introduced ‘I Could Eat This Everyday’ category.”
Adam Michaels, chairman and chief executive officer of Mama’s Creations, echoed the sentiment, saying, “It is truly an honor to receive this level of recognition for the fifth year in a row – beating out countless superb food products offered on QVC – a testament to the joy our products continue to bring to QVC’s loyal consumers.
“We deeply value our relationship with their viewers and I look forward to continuing to nurture our relationship with QVC in the years to come,” he added.
Founded in 2010, Mama’s Creations makes and distributes all-natural beef, turkey, chicken and pork meatballs, as well as other similar Italian products. As part of a rebrand to better reflect the transition into a one-stop shop for prepared foods, the company changed its name in August from MamaMancini’s to Mama’s Creations.
It has more than 45,000 product placements nationally in grocery, club and convenience stores, including Costco, Kings, Whole Foods, ShopRite, Stop & Shop and The Fresh Market, as well as through QVC’s direct platform on live appearances, auto ships and online purchases.
