Just Salad tosses another NJ location into mix (slideshow)

Just Salad, a New York City-based fast casual chain, opened its fourth location in New Jersey.

Located at 114 Washington Street in Hoboken, Just Salad is celebrating the grand opening of its newest shop by offering discounted, $5 meals to any customer who orders in-store between Nov. 30 and Dec. 3 from noon to 2 p.m. or 5 to 7 p.m.

Founded in 2006, Just Salad offers customizable salads, wraps, smoothies, soups and warm bowls. Menu highlights include seasonal fall salads, “Iconic Salads” (crispy chicken poblano, Thai chicken crunch and Tokyo super greens) and its “Earthy Friendly” meals, which feature salads with low-carbon footprints.

Just Salad also has a reusable bowl program as part of the company’s climate initiatives, which gives customers the option to buy a reusable bowl for $1 and then receive a free salad topping with every reuse.

As part of the grand opening festivities in Hoboken, Just Salad will give $5 meals for reusable bowl customers who purchase meals in-store Dec. 6, the chain said.

On Dec. 7, Just Salad will celebrate the community by offering $5 meals to first responders, health care workers, transit workers, municipal workers, delivery drivers, construction workers, school staff and teachers.

Just Salad in Hoboken is open Monday to Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends.

Elsewhere in New Jersey, Just Salad has shops in Jersey City, Totowa and Pompton Plains.
