After topping out the tower last June, LeFrak is launching leasing for the Bisby along the Hudson River waterfront.
Situated within Jersey City‘s Newport neighborhood, the new luxury rental located at 30 Park Lane N. reaches 34 stories and includes 385 apartments.
The Bisby is rounded out by an amenity package that keeps up with residents’ demands. Capping it off is a 33,000-square-foot rooftop “oasis” — complete with pickleball court.
“Today’s renters are looking for spacious, light-filled homes complemented by curated amenities they’ll actually use,” commented LeFrak Managing Director of Residential Leasing Richard Wernick. Pointing to the Bisby’s offerings, Wernick highlighted its abundant coworking space, content recording studio and more.
“All within a thriving community offering vibrant retail, green space and transportation seconds away,” he said. “Bisby marks our newest residential building in Newport, and we look forward to welcoming our first residents this summer.”
The opening follows significant retail leasing across the master-planned community. Last month, the developer announced eight new agreements totaling 27,000 square feet.
Units range from studios to four-bedroom layouts. Most residences offer private balconies with panoramic views of the waterfront and New York City skyline.
Indoor amenities include the two-level coworking center. Featuring two-story windows, the area blends function and inspiration. The space supports brainstorming and quiet calls as well as daily tasks. For fun, there is a golf simulator, fitness center, residents’ lounge and game area, dog spa, playroom and fully attended lobby, bike storage and a parking garage with electric vehicle charging stations.
New Jersey architecture firm Minno & Wasko designed Bisby. The New York studio of Woods Bagot designed interiors.
Ultimately part of a trio of structures, the mixed-use rental building is set for 529 units and 2,364 square feet of retail space.

A beehive inspired the design approach, according to LeFrak. The Bisby aims to mirror the bustling rhythm of contemporary life while embracing an elegant style to create a sense of community by balancing home and the workplace, according to the developer.
“Bisby was intentionally designed to cater to modern lifestyles, providing dedicated workspace separate from leisure areas,” explained Woods Bagot Principal and Interior Design Lead Krista Ninivaggi. “We prioritized amenities to support residents seeking work-life balance, including those with flexible work-from-home arrangements or entrepreneurial pursuits. Our ground floor lobby has evolved into a dynamic coworking studio, reflecting the demand for alternative social workspaces and vital ‘third places.'”
Live-work-play neighborhood Newport offers a complete urban living package.
Bisby is located next to Newport Green, a 4-acre park, playground and sandy urban beach. It’s also near Hoboken PATH and NJ Transit, offering direct access to Manhattan.
According to the property’s website, monthly rent for studio apartments starts around $3,400. The price point for a three-bedroom unit with two baths is approximately $8,490 per month.
