LX Pantos Americas recently opened its new Americas regional headquarters at the Glenpointe Center in Teaneck.
The firm is the Americas regional organization of LX Pantos, a Korea-based global logistics company.
In the May 12 announcement, it described the launch as “a major milestone in the company’s growth across the Americas.”
The ceremony included remarks from LX Pantos and local officials as well as a tour of the new facility.
“This new chapter underscores our continued commitment to innovation, partnership and a broad, deeply integrated portfolio that enables us to deliver world-class logistics solutions across the Americas and beyond – all powered by our passionate and dedicated colleagues across the region,” David Bang, CEO of LX Pantos Americas, said in a statement.
The company did not immediately respond to questions about its previous base. However, NJ.com noted LX Pantos had shared space with sister company LG Electronics in Englewood Cliffs.
Fellow tenants at the Glenpointe corporate campus include Interstate Waste Services, Cognizant Technologies and Columbia University.
Shortly after celebrating its new home, LX Pantos Americas also made further progress on its U.S. expansion. The company invited officials from the Virginia Economic Development Partnership and the Port of Virginia to its new Teaneck base to sign Memorandums of Understanding.
The agreements aim to establish a collaboration framework to strengthen operations, enhance visibility and enable long-term growth in Virginia, according to a May 26 announcement.
“These agreements mark an important milestone for our companies and reflect the shared trust, vision and long-standing commitment among our teams,” Bang said.
With operations spanning across North and South America, LX Pantos Americas offers logistics solutions to a range of industries.
