Dana’s Bakery, an Instagram-famous online bakery known for a creative take on sweets, is looking to expand its reach even further.

The South Hackensack-based business recently partnered with G.O.A.T. Foods on two new websites. The pages allow customers to exclusively shop for Dana’s Bakery-branded cupcakes and cookies.

Headquartered in Florida, G.O.A.T. Foods is a family-owned business. The company aims to provide best-in-class products with premier packaging using domain names that dominate each category. G.O.A.T. Foods is home to brands such as Licorice.com, Taffy.com, Pretzels.com, Caramels.com, Chocolate.com and Truffles.com.

Commenting on the launch of Cupcakes.com and Cookies.com, Dana’s Bakery founder and CEO Dana Pollack said, “We are thrilled to join forces with G.O.A.T. Foods … to take our offerings and reach to the next level.”

The cupcake lineup includes signature favorites, gluten-free and vegan varieties in a range of flavors — from chocolate to red velvet to strawberry shortcake to Funfetti. Cookies.com also features gluten-free and vegan options, as well as a collection of stuffed cookies, classics, handcrafted brownies and macarons.

Famous followers

got its start 12 years ago as a direct-to-consumer operation out of a small kitchen in Hawthorne. Since, it’s become popular for its cookies, macarons and “mookies” (a cookie stuffed with a macaron inside).

The company now has more than 40 employees. It operates out of a 6,000-square-foot, custom-built facility where it prepares orders and ships to both customers and wholesalers nationwide. Just a few of the retail partnerships formed include Dylan’s Candy Bar, Bloomingdales, Whole Foods Market, Williams Sonoma, FreshDirect and 1-800 Flowers.

Dana’s Bakery – which made Inc.’s list of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in 2018 and 2019 – has been featured in numerous publications, like People, Conde Nast Traveler and Town & Country, as well as on TV shows such as “Today.” The pastries have also earned several celebrity fans, including Martha Stewart and Harry Connick Jr.
